This talk traces styles originating in European Architecture and their subsequent adaptation for American family homes and some of Naugatuck's mansions. You will learn how American builders and designers played fast and loose with the conventions and broke rules to create eclectic American styles.

Speaker Donald Cromley, is an architect and professor. He divides his time between New York and Naugatuck. He has designed houses in New England and California.
