Build Our Collection
We recognize that women and historically underrepresented ethnic groups have not been well-documented in our collection. We are actively seeking materials that help tell a more complete story of Naugatuck’s history, including contributions from diverse communities, women-led organizations, and multicultural traditions.
History is more than just the well-known names and major industries—it is the everyday lives, small businesses, family traditions, and personal experiences that shape a community. What may seem insignificant to you is an important piece of Naugatuck’s story. We want to preserve these untold histories so that future generations can see a fuller, more inclusive picture of the past. If you have photographs, documents, or memorabilia that capture these experiences, we encourage you to share them with us.
