Urban Sketchers of Central Connecticut Exhibit Opening
Sunday, June 1st | 2 PM - 4 PM
Naugatuck Historical Society – Tuttle House
Join us as we open a brand new exhibit celebrating the work of the Urban Sketchers of Central Connecticut, a warm and welcoming group of over 300 artists who gather across Hartford and New Haven Counties to sketch from life. From beginners to seasoned sketchers, this group is all about community, creativity, and capturing the world around them—without lessons or critiques, just shared inspiration.
Some of the artists will be at the opening event with their materials, happy to chat and answer questions about their process or the group itself. If you’re interested in learning more or even joining, this is the perfect opportunity to stop by and connect!
The exhibit features stunning sketches of the Tuttle House—inside and out—along with other beloved buildings throughout Naugatuck. It’s a great way to support independent artists and see the town through fresh eyes.
Enjoy light refreshments while you explore the exhibit. Whether you're coming from the downtown Duck Race or just looking for a creative afternoon, we’d love to welcome you in!
