Board of Directors
After retiring in 2019 following a 47-year career in public and private education as both a teacher and administrator, my wife and I were looking for a meaningful way to give back to the community. Shortly after the world began reopening from the COVID-19 shutdown, we came across an article in the Waterbury paper about the Naugatuck Historical Society and attended an organizational meeting for new volunteers. We liked what we saw and heard and decided to get involved, each taking on different roles.
For the past two years, I have been actively involved as a volunteer and currently serve as Vice President on the board, chair of the Facility Committee, and a Saturday docent. Our family has called Naugatuck home since 1991, when we moved here from Kentucky, and I am proud to contribute to preserving and sharing its rich history.
