The Naugatuck History Museum is more than a place to explore the past—it’s a place to preserve it. We seek historical artifacts from well-known names like Risdon, Uniroyal, and the National Bank to the personal stories that make our community unique.

While iconic names are exciting, some of the most meaningful discoveries come from everyday objects that reveal untold stories.

The Naugatuck History Museum at the Tuttle House is where our community’s past comes to life.

Operated and managed by the Naugatuck Historical Society, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 1959, the museum is run entirely by dedicated volunteers committed to preserving and sharing Naugatuck’s story. We strive to connect the past with the present through thoughtfully curated exhibits, engaging events, and historical research.

Here, history isn’t just something to observe—it’s something to be a part of. Whether visiting to explore, researching local history, or contributing artifacts to our collection, your involvement helps keep Naugatuck’s legacy alive.
