Elkamar Mfg. Co. Organized Here In 1946
John H. Rose Heads Firm as President, W. C. Barker Secretary and Treasurer

The Elkamar Mfg. Co. was incorporated here early in 1946. John H. Rose is president.

The organization has become recognized as a progressive, manufacturing company, specializing in production milling, drilling, turning, boring, grinding, threading and tapping of metal goods. The company in the near future expects to market several of its own products which are now in experimental stages in the Naugatuck plant.

Products of the company now include - bushings, couplings, eyelet punch holders, pulleys, gear blanks, shafts, housings, nuts, hubs and washers.

Walter C. Barker is secretary and treasurer of the company.
