The Naugatuck Historical Society – Give Local 2025
At the Naugatuck Historical Society, we believe every story matters—from the well-known headlines to the quiet, everyday moments that shaped our community. As a fully volunteer-run organization, we are committed to preserving the diverse histories of Naugatuck and making them accessible to all.
Our museum at the historic Tuttle House is open to the public free of charge, thanks to the generous support of people who care about honoring the past and investing in the future. With your help, we can continue expanding our digital archives, curating inclusive exhibits, and offering educational programs that connect people of all ages to Naugatuck’s rich heritage.
This Give Local, we invite you to join us on a storytelling journey—each giving level represents a way to keep Naugatuck’s history alive:
$10 – Story Seed
Helps preserve a single photo, letter, or artifact—something that might otherwise be forgotten.$25 – Memory Keeper
Supports the digitization of historical materials so they can be safely shared with the public.$50 – Narrative Builder
Funds the research needed to uncover overlooked stories and connect forgotten details.$100 – Archive Guardian
Provides supplies to properly store and protect fragile items, ensuring long-term preservation.$500 – Exhibit Storyteller
Brings stories to life by supporting the design and production of inclusive and engaging exhibits.$1,000 – History Amplifier
Expands digital access—helping us build online exhibits, educational resources, and virtual tools to reach more people, near and far.
During Give Local 2025 (April 29–30), your donation goes even further with bonus funds and prizes from the Connecticut Community Foundation and campaign sponsors. Whether $10 or $1,000, every gift helps us preserve, protect, and share the stories that make Naugatuck unique.
